Steam with Santa 2017


Join our heated special train as it gently steams along our one mile of line (one round trip) whilst Santa delivers a present to every child on the train.


December 2017: Sat 9th, Sun 10th, Sat 16th, Sun 17th & Wed 20th.

Choice of train times: 11:00*, 11:45, 12:30, 14:00, 14:45, 15:30 & 16:30^

(*11:00 not available on 9th or 20th)

(^16:30 not available on 10th, 17th or 20th)


Choice of seating in Standard or Royal* Pullman Coaches

Please note: There are no toilets on our trains.


Unfortunately pushchairs cannot be accommodated on the Santa train due to age and historic nature of our coaches (narrow internal passageways and doors) but can be left on the platform in designated areas (at owners risk).

Terms & Conditions

  1. An administration charge of £5.00 is made for cancelled bookings more than 30 days before departure, otherwise  no refund is possible.
  2. For your comfort, smoking is not permitted on any of the trains.
  3. Dogs, except assistance dogs, are not allowed on the Santa train.
  4. Refunds are not issued if you do not arrive on time, and whilst every effort will be made to accommodate you on a later train, this cannot be guaranteed.
  5. Limited accommodation for wheelchair passengers is available on request - please state your requirements clearly when booking.
  6. We will make every attempt to operate even if the weather is poor, please watch our website for weather/operational updates.

Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the timetable the Company does not guarantee that the trains will depart at the times stated, and reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train without notice or to substitute any locomotive. No liability for loss or inconvenience can be accepted
